In exploring low-carbon packaging technologies, Well Lands Enterprise Co., Ltd. has developed environmentally compliant packaging in accordance with Malaysia’s Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR) regulations and Green Government Procurement (GGP) policy. The initiative aims to enhance corporate competitiveness and market recognition while reducing waste management costs. By replacing composite packaging materials with single-material solutions and switching from plastic handles to fiber handles, the company effectively simplifies the sorting process, thereby improving recycling and reuse efficiency.
From an environmental perspective, the design is optimized based on the product life cycle to reduce printed surface areas, lower carbon emissions during production, and incorporate Taiwan’s paper-making technology to upcycle recovered corrugated board into low-basis-weight eco-friendly rice field weed-suppressing paper, promoting circular resource use. In addition, through carbon emission calculations, the company conducts a comprehensive inventory of ink usage and the carbon footprint of the packaging manufacturing process, ensuring that the final packaging design balances both environmental performance and economic efficiency during long-distance transportation.
在減碳包裝技術的探索中，針對宏達益企業有限公司遵照馬來西亞「生產者責任延伸規定」及「綠色政府採購 (GGP)」政策下，開發符合環保標準的包裝，以提升企業競爭力與市場認可度，同時降低廢棄物管理成本。透過單一材料取代複合包材，並將塑膠手提把更換為纖維提把，有效簡化分類工序，提高回收與再利用效率。
環境效益上，從產品生命週期出發，優化設計減少印刷面積，降低製程碳排放，並採用台灣工紙技術，將回收瓦楞紙研發為低基重環保水稻抑草紙，促進資源循環利用。此外，透過碳排放計算，完整盤點油墨用量與包裝製造過程的碳足跡，確保產品在長途運輸中兼顧環保與經濟效益。
